Larger residential lots
Room for detached structures and the drives that reach them. Layout, turning space, and how the new work ties into existing concrete are planned together.
Service Area — New Caney
New Caney work leans toward foundations and slabs for detached structures, along with the driveways that have to reach them across larger residential lots.
Working in New Caney, TX
New Caney has a mix of established homes on generous lots and newer construction filling in around them. That combination means a large share of what we are asked to price is a slab for something new — an addition, a garage, a shop, a covered structure — rather than a cosmetic surface upgrade.
Foundations for detached structures are their own discipline. Footing depth, edge thickness, vapor barrier, reinforcement, and anchor placement all depend on what is being built and how it will be loaded, so we want the building plan or the supplier drawing in hand before we quote rather than after.
Driveways here often have to cover real distance and cross uneven ground before they reach the structure. Base preparation, slope, and jointing carry more weight on those runs than the finish does, and we would rather spend the budget under the slab than on the surface of it.
Our home base and primary market is Cypress, TX. For the full company overview see the CXS Concrete Solutions homepage, or read the concrete resources covering thickness, reinforcement, and curing.

What the slab is for shapes the scope far more than the square footage does.

Project considerations
Site conditions here vary by lot, so each of these is confirmed during the visit rather than assumed.
Thickness, footing or grade-beam detail, reinforcement, and anchor layout follow the building going on the slab. We ask for the plan or supplier drawing before pricing.
Uneven or low areas may need grading or engineered fill before forms are set. That work is priced openly rather than buried in a square-foot number.
Slab elevation is set so water moves away from both the new structure and the house, taking into account where the property already drains.
Whether a permit or inspection applies depends on your address and the structure. We tell you what we know and coordinate with whatever authority governs the property.
Water, electrical, and septic runs are located before excavation, especially where a new slab crosses the yard between the house and a detached structure.
Reaching a rear structure pad may require pumping rather than direct chute placement. We identify that during the visit so it is in the written scope.
