What we do

Concrete Solutions for Cypress Homes and Properties

CXS Concrete Solutions handles residential concrete and outdoor improvements from the first measurement through the final finish.

That means one crew responsible for demolition and haul-off, grading and base preparation, forming, reinforcement, placement, finishing, and jointing. When a driveway, patio, or shop pad fails early, the cause is usually what happened before the concrete truck arrived, so preparation gets the same attention as the surface you actually see.

Most of our work is for homeowners and property owners around Cypress: replacing a tired driveway, adding parking, turning a bare backyard into a usable patio, or pouring a slab for a shop or addition. Every project starts with a site visit and a written scope, so you know exactly what is being built before work begins.

Why CXS

How We Work

No inflated claims — just the parts of a concrete project that decide whether you are happy with it in five years.

Detailed project planning

We walk the property, talk through how the space gets used, and plan layout, slopes, and joints before anything is poured.

Clear written estimates

Scope, dimensions, thickness, reinforcement, and finish are written down so you can compare bids on the same terms.

Site preparation and reinforcement options

Base prep, grading, and reinforcement choices are discussed openly rather than assumed or hidden in a line item.

Clean, professional coordination

Clear scheduling communication, protected work areas, and cleanup handled as part of the job, not an afterthought.

Residential and acreage-property experience

From tight suburban side yards to long rural driveways and shop slabs, the approach is matched to the site.

Locally managed from Cypress

Projects are run from the Cypress area, so site visits, questions, and walkthroughs stay local and direct.

Concrete Services Designed for Cypress Properties

Cypress is not one single type of property, and concrete work here should not be quoted as if it were.

Much of Cypress sits inside newer master-planned communities, where homes arrived with a builder-standard driveway and a small back slab. Once families move in, the same requests come up: more parking for a third vehicle or a work truck, a wider approach that is easier to back out of, and a patio large enough for real furniture rather than a grill and two chairs.

Outside those neighborhoods, larger suburban and acreage lots bring different work — long driveways, turnarounds, RV parking, and slabs for shops and outbuildings. Those pours are specified differently because the loads and the distances involved are different.

Drainage deserves early attention on both. Flat lots and heavy Gulf Coast rain mean a new slab can redirect water toward a foundation, a neighbor, or a low spot if slopes are not planned. We look at where water goes today before deciding where the new concrete sits and how it falls.

Soil movement is a real factor across this part of Harris County, but conditions vary lot to lot — we do not assume every Cypress property has the same soil or needs the same preparation. Site prep and reinforcement are decided after seeing your property. If your community has an HOA, exterior changes such as driveway extensions or added parking often need approval, and we are glad to provide the scope and dimensions you need to submit.
