Who we are
Residential concrete, done to a standard
CXS Concrete Solutions is a residential concrete and outdoor living contractor serving Cypress, Texas and the surrounding northwest Houston-area communities. We pour driveways, patios, foundations, paver installations, walkways, RV pads and shop pads — and we build the outdoor spaces that sit on top of them.
We work with more than 15 years of experience in this soil. That matters here more than it does in most markets: the expansive clay under Cypress, Tomball, Hockley and Bridgeland moves with the weather, and concrete that was designed for somewhere else shows it within a few seasons. Everything we build is planned around drainage, movement and the way water actually leaves your lot.
We are a service-area business based in Cypress, Texas. We do not operate a walk-in office; all estimates are performed on site by appointment. That keeps our overhead in the work rather than in a showroom, and it means every estimate starts where the job will happen.
Workmanship
What we hold ourselves to
The parts of a concrete job you can't see later are the parts that decide how it ages.
Subgrade first
Concrete only performs as well as what sits under it. We strip organics, shape the pad for drainage, and compact the subgrade before a form board goes in. Skipping this step is the single most common cause of early cracking and settlement in this area.
Built for expansive clay
Cypress-area soils shrink and swell with moisture. We plan thickness, reinforcement, joint layout and edge detail around that movement instead of pouring a flat slab and hoping.
Joints and reinforcement on purpose
Control joints are laid out to panel geometry and cut deep enough, early enough, to actually control where the slab cracks. Reinforcement is specified for the loading the surface will see, not out of habit.
Finish and cure the way the mix needs
Finishing is timed to the slab, not the schedule, and curing is treated as part of the job. A rushed finish or a slab left to dry out is a surface problem you live with for decades.

We meet you at the property, look at grade, drainage, access and what the existing surface is telling us, and talk through what you want the finished space to do.

Written scope and estimate
You get a clear estimate that states thickness, reinforcement, prep, finish and square footage — so you can compare it against anyone else's number line by line.

Scheduling and prep
We confirm dates, tell you what to expect for access and noise, and handle demolition, haul-off, grading and forming.

Pour and finish
Placement, finishing and jointing happen on the same disciplined sequence every time, with attention to edges, transitions and the tie-ins to your existing hardscape.
- 05
Cure, clean-up and hand-off
We protect the pour, clean the site, and walk you through cure times and when the surface is ready for foot and vehicle traffic.
