Aftercare
Maintaining a Paver Patio
Pavers are low-maintenance rather than no-maintenance. Joints and edges are the two things worth keeping an eye on.
What we ask of you
- Sweep and rinse the surface rather than letting debris pack into the joints
- Expect to top up joint material occasionally, especially in the first season
- Keep heavy pressure-washing off the joints so material is not blasted out
- Pull weeds and growth from joints early rather than after they establish
- Keep soil and mulch from washing over the edge restraint
- Contact us if an area settles — pavers can usually be lifted, the base corrected, and the units reset
